300 ml(s) milk
1 sprig(s) parsley
25 gm(s) butter
20 gm(s) plain flour
40 gm(s) cheddar cheese
2 chives (chopped)
2 tsp(s) lemon juice
1 boiled egg (chopped)
50 gm(s) peas
1 bay leaf
500 gm(s) potatoes (mashed with butter and milk)
Delicious fish pie which can be enjoyed equally by adults, children or toddlers alike.

Cooking Steps:
Poach the fish in the milk with the bay leaf for about 5-10 minutes until it is cooked.
Drain the fish and reserve the liquid.
Melt the butter and add the flour to it.
Gradually add the fish liquid to make the sauce, stirring to make sure there are no lumps.
Stir in the cheese, whilst the sauce is simmering.
Break up the fish and add it to the sauce, with the lemon juice, egg, peas and some seasoning.
Place the sauce in an oven prove dish, and add the mashed potato on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180c gas mark 4 for 20 minutes, then grill for a couple of minutes to crispen up the topping.
