In my mission to introduce you to The Foodari Family, I guess it's only fair to lead by example and start with myself, the author of our blogs and newsletters, the photographer and composer behind our social media posts and curator of all marketing materials.
I have had the privilege of working for Foodari for five years where I have been your customer care account manager, then expanding my role to become Foodari's marketing manager and since the pandemic, I now also lead our Home Delivery division.
Although I have taken a step back from managing customer accounts full time, you'll often find me at the end of the phone supporting the team, happy to have a chinwag whilst you place your order.
Someone once said to me they "could hear my smile down the phone" and this is a comment that I bear in mind whenever we interact. I want you to come away knowing we always go above and beyond to ensure you are completely happy with our service in whichever encounter we share together.
The part of my job I enjoy the most is learning about our produce; I love nothing more than meeting our growers, going onto the farms and photographing the raw product, then documenting and sharing the pure passion of our growers.
Over the years I've spent time with The Retreat Animal Sanctuary donating our surplus produce as part of our sustainability initiative, and seeing these beautiful animals who have not had the best experiences in life enjoy what would otherwise be wasted, has also been a real highlight.
Outside of work I am a mother of two who ensure I'm always busy, and we have a Labrador which means we are not sat still for long! I have a love/hate relationship with running which keeps my focus when I have any free time, and when I'm not pounding the pavements I like to relax with a nice glass of rose whilst enjoying a kitchen disco listening to 70's and 80's classics 💃 To the disgust of my team mates, I'm usually found singing and dancing around the office too.
