Term-time Delivery Driver (Farm)
Join our team at Foodari to help deliver fresh produce across South East England. As multi-drop driver, you will be the face of our business, providing excellent service to customers ranging from Michelin-star restaurants to local schools.
This is a permanent role during school term-time, totalling 182 working days per year. The schedule runs Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, starting around 5am and finishing 2pm.
Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and maintaining high standard on the road.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years driving experience and would be able to work independently. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from candidates under 25' due to insurance policies.

Market Assistant Buyer
We are currently seeking a Market Assistant Buyer to support our Market Team. This is your opportunity to be a key player in enhancing Foodari's Market function and making s real impact on out operations. We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for quality, innovation and exceptional service.
This is a hands on role, with an element of office duties. Nightly traveling with our market buyer up to London in a company van, to purchase products and negotiate prices. These orders are then delivered to is at the market. Stock will need to be quality checked and prepared for our drivers to collect.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Market Buyer in organising stock allocation and loading/unloading van

Assist the Market Buyer and QC team in evaluating suppliers and products

Participate in the selection of fresh produce items for purchase

Maintain and nurture relationships with existing suppliers
-
Supporting Transport dispatch by helping drivers find the stock they need to add to their orders

Booking in purchase receipts on to our system

Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
Opportunities to Grow:

As you gain experience, take on the responsibility of sourcing and evaluating new suppliers and products

In the long term, support the negotiation of pricing and terms with suppliers, gaining valuable skills in supplier management

Actively contribute to team meetings, sharing insights on market trends and offering suggestions for purchasing improvements
Ideal candidate must have:

Strong Communication and negotiation skills

Basic understanding in procurement and supply chain management

Familiarity with fresh produce categories and seasonal trends

Ability to work effectively with a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Strong attention to detail

Full UK category B driving licence, preferably with experience of driving 3.5 ton van (must be over 25 for insurance purposes)
